Overview

Doppel is the AI-native platform for social engineering defense (SED), protecting individuals and brands from AI-powered impersonation, phishing, fraud, and social engineering through three solutions unified on a shared intelligence layer. Digital Risk Protection (DRP) detects threats across multiple channels, links alerts into a real-time threat graph, and delivers AI-driven infrastructure disruption. Human Risk Management (HRM) turns those live threats into phishing simulation campaigns and next-generation security awareness training, measuring and reducing employee risk by user and team. Email Security adds inline protection, using agentic detection and response backed by the Doppel 360° Threat Graph to stop inbox attacks and disrupt the infrastructure behind them. Together, they defend the entire social engineering attack chain, from infrastructure built before a target is acquired to the moment of compromise, advancing Doppel's mission to protect the world from social engineering, every day.

Key Capabilities

Modern, AI-driven cyberattacks have outpaced the traditional "spot the bad" approach to security training. But that doesn't make training obsolete, it just changes its purpose. Historically, legacy security awareness training programs were designed to satisfy compliance checkboxes and rely on static, oversimplified video libraries that fail to reflect how modern cyberattackers actually operate. In today's social engineering and fraud landscape, attackers don't break in, they persuade someone to let them in. As AI-driven, multi-channel attacks become nearly indistinguishable from legitimate communication through deepfakes, impersonation, and highly targeted outreach across text, email, and social, the focus shifts from detection alone to shaping how employees respond under pressure when trust is being exploited.

The new reality of social engineering is intelligent, personalized, and harder than ever to detect. In simulations, Doppel found that 100% of its AI Agent voice clones were treated as humans and fooled employees for up to 20 minutes, almost gaining access to their passwords. For instance, take a CFO of a Fortune 500 company who receives a call from an AI voice clone that's urgent, convincing, and includes company-specific details. It's so hyper-realistic that the CFO reveals information that enables the attacker to access the company's funds.

Doppel's Human Risk Management (HRM) platform addresses these evolving threats by targeting the behaviors most exploited in modern attacks. It replaces legacy security awareness approaches with an intelligence-driven framework that combines role-based, threat-informed training with deepfake-powered, multi-channel simulations across email, voice, SMS, messaging apps, and collaboration tools. Together, Doppel Security Awareness Training and Doppel Simulation form a comprehensive HRM solution that provides organizations with a complete picture of human risk and a measurable path to improving resilience.

How we are different

Doppel approaches phishing and cybersecurity training with a unique strategy that goes beyond awareness training, static templates, and click rates. Its HRM solution transforms security awareness by providing access to a continuous, threat-informed defense capability and equipping organizations with practical instinctive detection and response skills, stronger organizational resilience, and a measurable reduction in human risk against AI-powered, multi-channel social engineering attacks.

The HRM solution is comprised of two key offerings. The first being Doppel Security Awareness Training, which gives organizations the power to prepare for every scenario with a robust library of training content and the ability to create custom, company-specific content in minutes with generative AI. It delivers targeted, behavior-based training tailored to every user, role, department, and industry, and focuses on scenarios such as voice phishing (vishing), executive impersonation, or helpdesk manipulation. This makes training more relevant, measurable, and effective at changing real-world behavior.

Woven into that is Doppel Simulation, a multi-channel, AI-powered social engineering engine that mirrors how modern attackers operate across voice, email, SMS, collaboration tools, and messaging apps. While traditional training measures knowledge, Simulation measures and improves real-world behavior by safely replicating attacks, helping organizations see how employees actually react in the moment and reduce risk more effectively than static training alone. During simulations, employees also receive real-time coaching, quizzes, and reinforcement. If gaps are identified, the system automatically assigns targeted follow-up training to strengthen weak areas and build lasting behavioral change.

The realism of these simulations is powered by a direct feedback loop from Doppel's Digital Risk Protection (DRP) offering, which harvests real-world threat data to inform the training engine. This intelligence is further strengthened by Doppel Email Security, the newest layer of the company's unified, AI-native platform. Together, these capabilities provide visibility into active phishing campaigns, impersonation attempts, and emerging tactics targeting organizations across the social engineering attack chain.

Rather than relying on generic attack scenarios, Doppel uses this real-world threat intelligence to ensure simulations reflect the latest techniques adversaries are actively using. By continuously translating external threat activity into relevant training and testing exercises, the platform helps organizations prepare employees for the attacks they are most likely to encounter.

This integration creates a closed-loop system in which threat intelligence directly informs employee training, transforming external visibility into internal resilience and enabling organizations to measure and reduce human risk against evolving social engineering threats.

For an example of what makes Doppel different, a customer from a productivity company said, "A lot of tools on the market were quite basic and didn't really have any data backing up what they were trying to simulate. Doppel is in a unique space because they have a lot of intel. They're working with a lot of enterprise customers already, and with that data, they can stay on top of how the landscape is changing. It becomes much more of a valuable teaching tool because it will have that latest tactics that these adversaries are using to try to infiltrate companies."

The impact is both measurable and urgent. Doppel Security Awareness Training has rapidly emerged as the company's fastest-growing product line, contributing a meaningful share of total pipeline despite being only the second offering in the portfolio and the first major expansion beyond the core platform. Within six months of launch, Doppel Security Awareness Training was deployed across multiple Fortune 500 customers, underscoring immediate enterprise validation and product market fit. Organizations are leveraging the program to educate employees on evolving risks, including helpdesk manipulation, voice cloning scams, and deepfake video impersonations, translating threat intelligence into practical, real-world resilience.

In recent Fortune 500 trials, Doppel Simulation uncovered significant blind spots, including scenarios where AI voice clones were treated as legitimate callers and engaged in 6-minute-long conversations with helpdesk employees. By surfacing these vulnerabilities in a controlled environment, organizations were able to proactively reinforce awareness and correct risky behaviors before real-world exploitation.
